WHY THE HELL IS KANYE'S COLLEGE DROPOUT NOT ON THIS LIST?!?!?!
Though pitchforkmedia refer to the list as an "indie rock shortlist prize", after reviewing the nominees it's clear that this is not restricted to indie artists. I am very happy to see A.C. Newman on the list and a few others.

Steve M is AMAZING.

ILM's Top 100 Albums of 2000-2004.
ILM's Top 100 Tracks of 2000-2004.

(sadly, I put off voting until it was too late. Made a nomination though.)

Ice Magazine's site claims that Universal will be releasing expanded editions of Eric B. and Rakim's Paid in Full and Follow The Leader next week. Now, I know that the deluxe Paid In Full came out last year, so that part is likely an error, but I can't find anything on the web about the Follow the Leader reissue. I so hope this isn't just an error on Ice Magazine's part.

Fans of Ekkhard Ehlers and the Boards of Canada may want to check out Kazumasa Hashimoto. I found his 2003 album, Yupi, and it's a gorgeous blend of combination of various orchestral instruments, including piano, cello, violin, flute, drums and guitars that are combined with computerized sound effects. He just released a new album, Epitaph, on Flyrecs. I haven't heard it yet, but a review on his home page suggests it's more of the same, which I would gladly welcome.
Sadly, I haven't found any North American stores that are selling either CD.

No idea why I had such a long delay, but I'll try to get back to updating this again. I may consider getting a comments section at some point, so that if there are any readers out, I can hear from them.
Is it weird that I have checked out my own blog periodically, to see if it was updated? Man, that's pathetic.
